THE EVENT
Din l-Art Helwa is thrilled to host an exhibition by Desiree Steinmann at its shop on the corner of Old Bakery Street and Melita Street, Valletta (entrance from both streets).
Desiree is originally from Germany, but currently shares her time between Malta and Switzerland. She started her career in sales and marketing and, after having two children with her husband Peter, went on to found her own training and coaching company in 2003.
The past few years have given her the opportunity and time to express herself through paint, an activity which has developed into a passion. She has been experimenting with a variety of styles, with each painting representing an evolution of her vision, allowing her colourful and dramatic flourishes to take shape and find her own personal meaning.
She will have several paintings on exhibition, all of which are for sale, with a donation from each going to Din l-Art Helwa.
The artist will be on site for some of the exhibition as above, but the paintings will also be there for Notte Bianca, when the NGO will once again be open to explain what it does and to sell its own publications at greatly discounted prices.
