WALKING AND TALKING TOUR 9 FUND RAISING ACTIVITY

Paolo Ferrelli, our hard working Warden at the Garden and his team of volunteers will be holding another popular Walking Tour, No 9, and will take visitors around the Prize Winning Cemetery voted by the National Geographic Magazine as one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the world.   With its neo classic funerary monuments which speak of heroism and architectural symbols, and with dissertations on the funerary traditions of the Maltese islands,  this really interesting tour will take you back across the last four hundred years of Maltese history.  

The tour will start at 10 a.m. and will take 1 and a half hours.  A donation of €5 is requested that includes admission, guided tour and refreshments.  To guarantee the most individual attention to participants a maximum of 20 adults only will be accepted on a first come first served basis.  For bookings or enquiries please email wardengor@gmail.com.  The Garden is best found taking the first turning left on Great Siege Road, Floriana, past the Public Library.
