Modernist Malta – book presentation to President of Malta

The Malta Independent, 31 March 2009 –

‘Modernist Malta: The Architectural Legacy’, a publication capturing the meaning and beauty of 20th Century Modernist architectural movement in Malta, was presented to President Edward Fenech Adami by the Chamber of Architects and Din L-Art Helwa.

Vincent Cassar, President of the Chamber of Architects, Simone Vella Lenicker and Alberto Miceli Farrugia represented the Chamber of Architects, while Mariagrazia Cassar and Simone Mizzi represented Din L-Art Helwa.

The Heritage organisation collaborated with the Chamber in the production of this book which followed the Photographic Exhibition recently set up to enhance awareness of 20th Century Modernist buildings.

The book is on sale in all major bookshops, through the Chamber of Architects and through the offices of Din l-Art Helwa.
