Jo Tyndale Biscoe – “John Hookham Frere’s Maltese Garden”

Ms Tyndale Biscoe will describe her personal memories of her grandparent’s beautiful garden in Pieta, sadly lost for Malta but all captured in her book ‘A Lost Maltese Garden – John Hookham Frere’s masterpiece’ illustrated with its poignant family photographs, memories and reminiscences.

DLH Vice President Simone Mizzi will illustrate the historical and pictorial anecdotes that inspired the Heritage Saved Watercolour Collection and their Limited Edition prints by Kenneth Zammit Tabona

 

 

All lectures will take place at Din l-Art Helwa, 133 Melita Street, Valletta and will commence at 18.00 hrs. Entrance is free of charge and everyone is welcome to attend. You are advised to be seated by 17.45 hrs. Donations to Din l-Art Helwa’s many restoration projects will be greatly appreciated.
