Cultural evening commemorating the 100th year since the birth of Giorgio Bassani

 At the Italian Cultural Institute a cultural evening commemorating the 100th year since the birth of Giorgio Bassani, Italian author and conservationist, founder of Italia Nostra who was inspirational for the founding of Din l-Art Helwa.  Bassani will be remembered on this occasion for his activity in the field of the protection of the environment and cultural heritage.  There will be interventions by Bassani’s daughter, Paola who is the President, Fondazione Giorgio bassani, by Maria Rosaria Iacono, Vice |resident italia Nostra and by  Ms Simone Mizzi whose father. Judge M. Caruana Curran, hosted Bassani from whom he received much advice on the running of Din l-Art Helwa.
