VILLA ST IGNATIUS – Steeped in history yet not worthy of conservation?

Venue: St Ignatius Church, Old College Street, Sliema.

 

The next lecture in the series of cultural talks organized by DLH will NOT be held at 133 Melita St., Valletta but at the Church of St Ignatius in Balluta which is close to the subject of our talk.  Conservation Architect Perit Edward Said will focus on the Architectural and Historical Value of Villa St Ignatius which is threatened to be demolished to make way for new development.  Din l-Art Ħelwa continues to lobby against its demolition. Your presence at this talk will help add weight to our campaign to save this iconic building.
