MAJJISTRAL PARK IN FLOWER TOUR

Invitation – Tour 2  Majjistral Park in flower

Din l-Art Helwa is organising the second tour for 2018 to Heritage sites and properties under its management.  Spring is fast approaching and visiting Majjistral Park in Mellieha will give us the opportunity to see the Park in flower and truly becoming a kaleidoscope of colour and regeneration whilst enjoying the splendid sea views of this Natura 2000 coastline.

 

Ian Camilleri a volunteer with DLH, will coordinate this tour in collaboration with Richard Cachia Zammit, the Majjistral Park’s Events Organisor and Guide.

 

The tour is set for the Saturday 31st March 2018.  Participants will meet at the Visitors Centre for a welcoming briefing by Richard.

Please note details as follows:

o A donation of euro10 per person, paid in advance to secure booking. All proceeds go towards DLH’s restoration and conservation projects.

o Bookings will be on a first come first served basis(maximum 30 participants).

o Tour starts at 9.15am with a briefing session at the Visitors Centre.  Parking is available at the entrance to the park.

o Richard will lead the participants on a one and a half hour walk on the park where the main features of the park’s flora and fauna will be explained.

o Tour will end at approximately 12.30pm.

 

It is suggested that participants wear appropriate walking shoes and bring a bottle of water with them.

To book and secure a reservation, please forward a donation of euro10 pp with your booking form to DLH at 133 Melita Street Valletta.
