Autumn Gala Dinner Phoenicia Ballroom 19.30 for pre dinner champagne cocktails

Din l-Art Helwa needs your help and support more than ever! 

The fund-raising Gala Dinner of  Din l-Art Helwa is coming up. Following the great success and popularity of our special event since we started it two  years ago, this year it will be held on Saturday the 23rd November, at The Ballroom of The Phoenicia.  We wanted to inform you early hoping that we are still in time for you to block the date in your busy diaries so that you could join us on the night.   

Before dinner, you will be entertained to a champagne and canapés reception on the adjacent Maryanski Terrace. The evening will be hosted by Thomas Camilleri, a professional compere and actor, and music will be provided by Michael Manduca and Romina Mamo. 

You could organize a table of maximum ten friends or, of course, you will be welcome to share a table with many of our friends and distinguished guests if you do not choose to make a full table.

The many supporters of Din l-Art Ħelwa and all those who follow current affairs in Malta, are well aware of the work carried out by the various teams of volunteers of Din l-Art Helwa in an effort to maintain, upkeep and save our precious Maltese heritage.  With a constant threat to our heritage and our environment, it is imperative that we all do our part.  By joining us, you could enjoy the evening and make your contribution.

This special event will include a traditional auction of a few select paintings and objets d’art which have been kindly donated by the artists themselves and others. You will also have the opportunity to bid privately for exceptional hotel stays in Rome, Sicily, London, Manchester and other locations, some in executive suites, at superb 5 star hotels, generously donated by friends of Din l-Art Ħelwa.  You could also bid for a day’s charter on a 52/54 foot sailing boat or for a brass band to play at your private party or celebration. Bidding for one or more of these items offers you an opportunity to win a voucher valid for one year, which you could utilize to celebrate a special occasion of your own or to gift it to somebody special.    

We envisage that this event would be an elegant occasion with excellent food and wine in a beautiful setting and hopefully, with your cooperation, raise some funds for our causes.  Your attendance and support will ensure that we can continue our work.  We would be delighted to welcome you and your friends on Saturday, 23rd November 2019 at 7.30 pm at The Phoenicia.  We shall be sending you applications and further information in the next few weeks and look forward to hosting you on the night.
