MEETING: MAJJISTRAL PARK VISITOR CENTRE 

BY BOOKING ONLY.

SUPPORT LOCAL INITIATIVES 

Join us for a guided nature walk at Majjistral Park ending at the Manikata rural farmstead to learn more about nature and rural heritage while tasting local products.

We start with a guided nature walk of about 3-4Km and listen out for the National Bird the Blue Rock Thrush (Merill) while taking in the aroma of the Thyme Scented garigue. Before sunset we start walking inland towards Manikata where we will meet with members of the Manikata Farmers Cooperative for local products and wine tasting at their medieval farmstead.

Wear comfortable shoes for rugged terrain and suitable clothing. Get some water and a small torch.

Entrance to the park is free. Visitors to the park are to take care of their own safety and that of any accompanying children and the park cannot be held responsible for any injuries or loss of property.

Note the park terrain is not suitable for pushchairs. Children are to stay alongside parents at all times of the walk. Please give advance notice of any cancellations as the food will need to be booked accordingly.
