Din l-Art Helwa at KSU Freshers Week 2013

When asked by Din l-Art Helwa to set up a stand during Freshers’ Week 2013, we knew from the very start that it would not only prove to be a new and fruitful experience but also a great challenge for the simple reason that it was the first time something of this nature was being set up! Trying to get the stand was no mere feat yet we persevered, we worked and we managed.

Having gone through this experience, we can now honestly say that the turnout was much better than we expected, with 11 new members deciding to join Din l-Art Helwa, not to mention some 202 signatures for the petition that is currently causing great hype in Malta, something which gave us immense satisfaction.

All in all, it was certainly a memorable experience which gave us the opportunity to meet new people, exchange our ideas, speak up for and, most importantly, give back to the community we all form part of.
