Pen and Ink Watercolours and Limited Edition Prints
Venue: Auberge de Castille, Valletta
Artist Kenneth Zammit Tabona has created an unusual set of 12 paintings and their limited edition prints, depicting 12 heritage sites and landmarks saved through restoration by Din l-Art Helwa. The set also features character portraits of historic personalities connected with each site, and each painting records the date of restoration by DLH.
Each print is accompanied by its own individual historical narrative and anecdote written by Simone Mizzi for Din l-Art Helwa, produced on adhesive for use after framing. The limited edition sets are presented in a gift folder, with each folder containing 6 prints.
The Collection together with its Limited Edition prints are sponsored by Banif Bank (Malta) plc and will be used for Banif Bank’s 2010 promotional calendar.
The signed limited edition prints constitute a fund-raising initiative for Din l-Art Helwa as we come up to our 45th Anniversary in 2010.
The Collection and its Limited Edition prints will be open to the public at Castille as follows:
SATURDAY 28th November 16.00 – 20.00 hrs
SUNDAY 29th November 10.00 – 13.00 hrs; 15.30 – 19.30 hrs
MONDAY 30th November 16.00 – 20.00 hrs
TUESDAY 1st December 16.00 – 20.00 hrs
The exhibition will continue after this date at Din l-Art Helwa, 133 Melita Street, Valletta.
Each folder with a set of 6 prints will sell at E 120 to the general public, for DLH members the price is E 100. We regret that the contents of each set, being signed limited edition prints, cannot be exchanged.
