Baroque flute and harpsichord recital at Auberge d’Aragon

The Autumn Fund Raising Concert organized by Din l-Art Helwa is to be held this year in the prestigious and unique historic setting of the Auberge d’Aragon, Pjazza Indipendenza, Valletta on Saturday 29th November. A Baroque Flute and Harpsichord Recital will be given by husband and wife duo, Silvio Zammit and Ramona Zammit Formasa in a performance featuring works by Handel, Bach, Marcello, Platti and Vivaldi.

Silvio Zammit and Ramona Zammit Formosa are both very well-known and established musicians and have been highly acclaimed both locally and abroad. They have performed in various solo and chamber recitals in the USA, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia and England. They have a number of CDs of Maltese music to their credit. Several Maltese composers have dedicated works for the duo. Their extensive repertoire ranges from the Baroque to the contemporary.

The concert, which starts at 7.30 p.m., will be followed by a lavish buffet reception. Tickets are €38.00 per person all inclusive and all proceeds will be dedicated to Din l-Art Helwa’s several restoration projects.
