A Clean-Up activity will be held at il-Majjistral Nature and History Park on 12 December 2009 – everyone is encouraged to come and participate!

The area to be cleaned is a stretch of road leading from Manikata to ix-Xaghra tal-Qortin.

10.00– meeting at Manikata Church, followed by Clean Up activity

12.30– Refreshments

13.00– Tree planting (Olive trees)

This activity is being held in collaboration with Green Drinks Malta and cub scouts from Ghaxaq who will be joining us to plant some trees/shrubs which will be donated to the Heritage Parks Federation by 34U.

Olive trees will also be available on the day. These will be planted in the area formerly used as a makeshift landfill. Anyone interested in planting an olive tree is welcome. Tree planting will be free of charge, yet some olive trees are up for adoption (on site) through a donation of €10. Your certificate of adoption will consist of a name tag affixed to the tree.
