THE RED TOWER AT SUNSET

Enjoy the thrill of visiting the Red Tower, St. Agatha’s Tower, at sunset during the Summer months.  This tower was built by the Order of St John on the promontory over Mellieha Bay and facing Gozo as a watchtower against incursions by pirates and the Ottomans.  It has unobstructed views of Gozo across the Gozo Channel with Comino and its Santa Marija Tower as well as the White Tower at Marfa.  Bring your cameras to take back with you the unforgettable images of this magic place!

Din l-Art Helwa volunteers will greet you until end September, on Tuesdays & Thursdays between 7.30pm and 9.00pm. Entry with a complimentary glass of wine is against a €5 donation.
