The Heritage Parks Federation, which is made up of Din l-Art Helwa, the Gaia Foundation and Nature Trust, expresses its solidarity with Mayor Ian Castaldi Paris after the cowardly attack on his home which thankfully did not result in anyone being hurt.

Dr Castaldi Paris was recently appointed Chairman of the Majjistral Park Board which is managed by the Federation, and has done sterling work to accelerate the project for the benefit of all Maltese and visitors alike.

The Federation declares its support for Mr Castaldi Paris and calls on the authorities to do all they can to stop this spate of violence against individuals which are carried out with the intention of intimidating them. In the opinion of the Federation of the three NGOs, this tactic will only increase the resolve of the individuals concerned.
